Searching for a Name
Time to take a few minutes away from writing about politics, and discuss a more important issue. I have three siblings and only one of us has a middle name. So, I am on a mission to find a middle name that will offset the very feminine name that I have carried all of my life. I put this search as my status on facebook and the suggestions have started to come in. So, for the three that I know who read this blog, now is your chance to put in your two cents worth. Send me a comment and let me know what you think.

Daddy, I decided to look for you a middle name by looking at the meanings of names. My official pick is the one you are leaning towards of Brian or Bryan and let me tell you why. In Celtic it means Hero, and in Celtic and English it means strong. Enough said! Love you Dad!
Kelly,
My first thought was Aaron. I took the same approach as REPuckett and went to the Bible to find out what that name means. Its meaning is "teacher, mountain of strength" and that fits you just right.
I also took an approach similar to the Facebook comments, still using Bible names, and landed on Festus (festive, joyful). But I figured that Gunsmoke image would be hard to carry around.
That Smoky Mountain theme someone suggested would work with the Bible name Jethro. It's primary meaning of "his excellence." It's the secondary meaning that would be difficult to live with - "his posterior."
K. William Campbell . . .
Very business like as well as very distinguished.
You could always go with Banks!
Seriously, this is really cool. I will start thinking and get back to you.
